Latonya Smith is an award-winning Global Technology Executive, Engineer, and Technology Entrepreneur with 20 years of experience leading complex technical organizations across Fortune 20 and Fortune 100 enterprises.

Her career is grounded in the engineering, architecture, and operation of enterprise technology at scale. From mission-critical infrastructure and enterprise platforms to automation, AI, and large-scale transformation, she has led the technical organizations responsible for building, modernizing, and sustaining the systems businesses depend on. Her leadership has consistently focused on driving decision velocity and operational discipline at global scale, architecting technology operating models that strengthen governance, accelerating execution, improving accountability, and translating complex technology investments into measurable business outcomes.

Today, as Founder & CEO of The Smith League, Latonya is applying that expertise to developing proprietary enterprise intelligence and technology solutions that connect organizational knowledge, data, and expertise to strengthen decision-making, solve complex challenges, and accelerate sustainable growth.

Latonya is also the author of original enterprise research and frameworks, including the Business Discovery Framework and Enterprise Executive Decision Framework, translating technical and organizational expertise into practical approaches for enterprise leadership and transformation. Her upcoming book, Platform and Purpose is expected to be released in January 2027.

Her academic foundation includes a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of North Texas and dual MBAs from Cornell University and Queens University. Her professional contributions have been recognized through the Dallas Business Journal Women in Technology Award and the University of North Texas Distinguished Alumni Award.
